Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 11/04/2024
This Privacy Policy describes how RotationAC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information related to suspected cheating activities in connection with our anti-cheat software ("Software") and related services ("Services"). We do not collect any personal information from users who are not flagged for potential cheating.
Information We Collect
Depending on your role (whether you are a buyer of our Software or a player on a game server where our Software is used), the information we collect may differ.
Information Collected from Software Buyers
If you purchase or license our Software, we collect the following information:
- Account Information: We collect details necessary for processing your purchase, such as your name, email address, and payment information (via our payment processors). This information is required to manage your license and ensure proper access to our services.
- Software License Details: We collect information about your software license, including its activation status, expiry date, and usage patterns. This data is used to monitor the status of your software license and for support purposes.
- Support and Communication: If you contact our support team or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect the content of your communications to assist in providing customer support and resolving any issues with your software or services.
Information Collected from Players on Game Servers
If you are a player on a game server where our anti-cheat software is used, we collect the following information:
- Player Identifiers: We log the player's unique identifiers (e.g., Steam ID) in order to track suspicious activities related to specific users.
- System Information: We collect data about the player's operating system (e.g., Windows, Linux, or Mac OS) and system architecture (e.g., x64) to help identify any anomalies associated with suspected cheating.
- Game Behavior Data: We monitor and log data related to game behavior, such as suspicious patterns, irregular movements, or abnormal accuracy. This may include detections of cheating activities, such as aimbot use or other unusual actions, but we do not collect detailed gameplay content.
- Server Information: We log the name and IP address of the server where the suspicious activity occurred to identify where cheating was detected. This helps us address issues at the server level.
- Punishment Data: We log whether any action (punishment) was taken against the player for the suspected cheating activity (e.g., "Punishment: None" or "Ban").
- Player Profile Links: If applicable, we may log a link to the player's profile, but this is used only for investigative purposes and is not shared publicly.
Information Collected from Game Servers
If you are hosting a game server where our anti-cheat software is running, we collect the following server-specific information:
- Server Identifiers: We collect the name, IP address, and any other identifiers that help us identify the game server where cheating activities may be detected. This information helps us monitor and address cheating incidents on your server.
- Cheating Detection Logs: We log data regarding suspected cheating incidents detected by the anti-cheat system. This includes timestamps, the nature of the suspected cheating activity, and any player-related data (e.g., player identifiers) associated with those activities.
- Server Configuration: We may collect details about the server configuration, such as settings related to game mode, anti-cheat settings, and plugin information to optimize detection and ensure compatibility with the software.
User Information We Do Not Collect
Regardless of whether you are a buyer of the software or a player on a server, we do not collect any personal information unless explicitly stated. This includes:
- Usernames (except when flagged for cheating activities)
- Email addresses (unless provided during the purchase process)
- IP addresses (unless for the purpose of detecting alternate accounts)
Use of Information
We use the information we collect from both buyers and players for the following purposes:
- For Buyers: We use the information to process your purchase, manage your software license, and provide customer support.
- For Players: We use the information to detect and investigate potential cheating activities on game servers and to improve our detection capabilities.
- For Servers: We use server-specific data to address cheating incidents, improve detection methods, and ensure smooth operation of the anti-cheat system on your server.
Data Storage and Security
We implement a variety of security measures to protect the data we collect, including encryption, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain information related to buyers, players, and game servers for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, including the management of licenses, customer support, and investigations into potential cheating activities. We may also retain anonymized and aggregated data for research and analysis purposes.
Your Choices (For Game Server Owners)
If you are a game server owner who uses our Software, you have no control over the data collected during potential cheating investigations. However, you can choose to:
- Disable the Software: You can disable the Software on your server by following the instructions provided by us. This will prevent our anti-cheat from functioning on your server.

If you believe that we have collected personal information from a child, please contact us immediately so that we can take appropriate steps to delete such information.
